Today was not only the first day of Fall for 2013 but it was also time for the Brooklyn Autumn Guitar Show and it was a fun day of exploring the Brooklyn Bowl once more to see what the vendors and builders had up their sleeves for this seasons show. Check out the awesome poster for the event and then keep on scrolling to enjoy our images and some thoughts about the show.
As I mentioned in my broadcast show post a couple of weeks ago, this time around the show would feature a number of new vendors along with the folks that have established a little more tenure at this particular space. Once again I was joined by my stalwart companion in Convention adventuring, the great Skeleton Pete Parrella, and here are the findings that I observed. This time around we noticed how a choice few tables were located immediately at the entrance of the Brooklyn Bowl, such as DR Strings.

These next gents were representing Radack Guitars and while company founder Rob Radack had attended many of these Brooklyn Guitar Shows, today was his first professional presentation of his wares at the show. Welcome Radack Guitars.

Check out some of the wares…..beautiful instruments.

Here’s Mr. Pederson himself with a couple of his artistic instruments.

Here is our show’s creative Main Miss, our friend Lisa Sharken. Thanks for having us here today Lisa.

Here’s the guys from Tone Master. Pickups and more awesomeness

The fantastic guitars by Joe Kaufman

Trouble for sure as our friends Joe Kaufman and Cha Vez of 812 Guitars join forces

Here’s our buddy Pete Parrella and Lloyd who is a guitar show regular patron. We had some really nice chats with Lloyd today and look forward to seeing him at another event soon.

Mr. Kirk Yano is always at the Brooklyn Guitar Show

Here’s Lorenza of La Bella strings
We felt this young lady had the Rock Star look and snapped her photo, everyone was having a grand old time today.

One of the biggest tables was that of Main Drag Music Brooklyn. They have a massive space down in Williamsburg which I am sure makes a lot of musicians happy.

I was intrigued by the Genuine Gretsch Gear table. As you know, I’ve attended and reported on the Gretsch Day that happens each year at Street Sounds Music. Check those reports out HERE.

A glance at the RetroFret Vintage Table

The Lazy B. Cigar Box Guitars had some cool new designs. Here are a couple of patriotic ones

A slightly different visual of the crazy bowling pin creatures at Brooklyn Bowl

We loved the super cool “Mars Attacks” ink that one of the BB servers had going on. Thanks for letting us snap this photograph Miss.

Here are a couple of cool Metal heads that I met at the show. You might notice that the girl is wearing a Katatonia shirt, well, there is a funny tale to this one. I mentioned I just had a Katatonia contest online with my site, and they entered immediately and won tickets to the show that is happening tomorrow. So glad to be able to spread the Metal love.

So that is the jist of it my friends, another Brooklyn Guitar Show is now officially on the books and we so enjoyed ourselves. Since Pete and I left around 3:45pm, we missed any later happenings so I don’t know if any of the Metal greats of guitar in NYC dropped by. If they did I guess I shall see on other postings about the event. As you saw in my images there were a wide range of providers presenting here today so here are links to their websites so you can peruse them a little further.
