Hey there readers and welcome back once again to the continued presentations from the 2013 NY Comic Con adventures that we undertook here at the PiercingMetal Command HQ a few days ago. I’m getting deeper into the Day Three coverage of the Con which is the Saturday session and the most populated. Let’s get right down to business since I have lots coming at you. I’ll begin at the Metal Sucks/Metal Injection booth where Anthrax’s own Frank Bello was signing photographs and meeting any fans that wanted to say hello.
This Cosplay group was mostly comprised of X-Men folks and check out the awesome little Hawkeye in attendance. He rocked.
From the above vantage point it was hard to get a clear shot of Ant-Man, so I did another one with them below.
I’m not sure who the menacing figure standing with Viper from Hydra is I’m afraid.
An absolutely marvelous Ms. Marvel was encountered while wandering the aisles.
Mister Sinister was out for X-Men blood at this years Con. Best to stay out of his way my mutant friends.
Here’s a lovely super-heroine repping a comic line called “Medikidz” – This is a comic written by doctors for children to raise medical awareness. What a great idea.
The Disney takeover of all things Star Wars was slowly becoming apparent with this couple of Sithtastic Cosplayers.
Here’s a visual of the masses that I had to trek through to get to another section. It’s pretty wild just how many people attend NY Comic Con. There are thousands in that image alone. Are you in there somewhere?
These two are cosplaying “Pretty Little Liars” – I’m not too aware of the show so I’ll just have to go with it.
Here’s a clever idea – a “Sharknado” Cosplay. It took me a couple of moments to realize what he was but wow what a fantastic idea.
It was wonderful to see this particular Harley Quinn at the Con as I’ve known her for a couple of years and its always nice to run into her in these masses. Nice job on the outfit as always.
Here’s a cool couple of gender bend Avengers with Winter Soldier and Hawkeye.
DC Comics was celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Superman with a massive display of costumes from over the years in terms of his television and film appearances. Take a look at them all below.
That was a lot of fun for sure but I was surprised to see any costume from either Kirk Alyn or the legendary George Reeves from “The Adventures Of Superman” television series. Not sure why that was the case but oh well.
The New Mutants had better watch out because Stryfe is on their tail at NYCC.
This was one of the lines that was waiting for a particular celebrity signing. I am not sure who it was because I was on the move and just wanted to showcase the line. Some of these can be ridiculous in terms of length of waiting but hey if you enjoy the talent then at lease you get a chance to say hello in person.
Alright my friends, that’s one more chapter in the books but as mentioned with this being the Saturday part of NYCC, there is a lot to call your attention to so I will be back tomorrow with more. Please stay tuned for that and in the meantime come over to the social networking side and give some love to our Official Facebook and Official Instagram accounts. I’ve become very active on both and I want you to be part of the discussion.
