“So here I am once more” if I can borrow the opening line to Marillion’s “Script For A Jester’s Tear” and I am talking about none other than being on point at the NY Comic Con for 2014. For those just joining me in the middle of the program, I am officially four chapters deep into my observations from the 2013 NY Comic Con. I’ve been limiting the chapters to fifty images apiece for easier digestion – Welcome to chapter five from the second day of the Con. Let’s get to work.
Michael Rennie might have been ill the day the Earth stood still but that would not stop these two awesome Rocky Horror Picture Show Cosplayers (that’s Little Nell and Eddie in case you wondered).
Not sure who this lovely Cosplayer is supposed to be unfortunately.

Now that is one Daft Punk of a Cosplayer 🙂

She might look friendly but this Cosplayer is dolled up as “Saw”‘s main meanie.

Another costume that I did not at all know but wow what a great job of it.

Here’s Ismael and his Media Coordinator Amanda at their Metal Machine booth. Their website offers up your expected Metal stuffs and has a strong focus on the comic book industry as well. We hung out a bit at this years con and I would drop by as a triage spot once in a while when overwhelmed. Thanks guys.

A Deadpool that is clearly addicted to “Top Chef” and Domino Cosplayers

A dangerous Harley Quinn and a Cowboy Deadpool Cosplay were observed next.

Next up a fantastic Red Sonja Cosplay

This was one of the greatest sights at the Con, a miniature Iron Patriot. If you are wondering, this is what became of the War Machine armor from “Iron Man 2”.

Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum had a wonderful Marvel Superheroes display back when “The Avengers” was released but I never made it over there. This weekend a couple of those pieces would come to the Con. Here is Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

And of course Captain America is his original WWII garb.

The incredible Red Sonja cosplayer from a few shots and moments earlier was right near by so I asked her to assemble with these other Avengers. Yeah I know the reference is thousands of years past her own timeline but..

And one more for good measure…. you don’t mind right?

When I met these two cool cosplayers last year they said that they would be back next year and well, their Terminator themed cosplay surely worked out for that.

More great Cosplayers in the Anime sense….

Keeping up the cool outfits on these Cosplayers as well, whomever they are trying to be.

This Man-Bat was super impressive and while I knew who was under the mask I will not be telling you kind readers. What an amazing job of it so kudos Mr. X 🙂

I love Midtown Comics. A great shop for sure and they have several locations in the city.

Welcome to Dark Horse Comics Pavilion. I’ve a bunch of shots from their area in this post for you to enjoy.

Always loved “Ghost”; Was reading this title for quite a few years but now rely on the trade paperback editions.

Here are some plush dolls and comics for “Itty Bitty Hellboy”; This is a hoot

Our friend in media and Comic Book tomfoolery – Aub Driver

Slave Leia was found wandering the Dark Horse Pavilion

The Meet and Greets

And now its onto the cool Voltron seen at Bandai

These Cosplayers were from “Kill Bill” I think.

The booth of Big Dog Ink.

The Geeks Out Booth.

Being Metal at Zenoscope

Everybody’s favorite zombie tale “The Walking Dead”

This was one of my favorite Cosplays at the convention. Ms. Pac Man!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and that is we are not yet done with sharing the fun. Do come back tomorrow for the next installment but until that time feel free to click around on the websites of some of the people we featured in this chapter. Be sure to click over to the Official PiercingMetal Facebook Page and Official Instagram profile and give those accounts some likes to enjoy some additional images and notations about the event. We’d love to have you along for the ride.
