Hey there readers and welcome back to the continued narratives from the 2013 NY Comic Con. I’m up to chapter two from the Day Three part of the convention and since this is the Saturday part of the whole enchilada that means I have my work cut out for me. Its technically the most populated day of them all. What better way to start today’s chapter then by featuring “Devo Duck” from Toy Tokyo. We’re still in “The Block” and I’ll be chiming in when possible. I don’t think you need me to label every single cosplayer we found.
This company is called “I Heart Guts” and its exactly what it sounds like if you thought it meant stuffed plushy internal organs. Really cute stuff and weird enough to be a hit.
The Ghouligans booth. Lots of freakishly ghouly stuff was found at their table.
This bit of cosplay yuck caught me offguard and spooked me for sure.
These lovely ladies are part of a comic strip called “Chinese Cutes”. They said it was about being Chinese and being cute so alright, best of luck girls.
If you have the cash to plunk down and the space for their massiveness you must check out the stuff from ARH Studios. Wow what incredible sculpts they deliver.
Hey its Yuffy Bunny who we have met at the Comic Con a few times already. Looking great today Miss.
Now its time for a few minutes at the Dark Horse Comics booth. More of a pavilion since they take over a massive space at NYCC. There were lots of cool giveaways and artist/writer signings.
That’s Rob from Metal Injection and two Cosplays of characters he enjoyed. They share a space at Con with Metal Sucks.
That about does it for this chapter. I can assure you that I will be back tomorrow with another installment since there was that much going on and so many images captured. Be sure to click over to the Official PiercingMetal Facebook Page and Official Instagram profile and give those accounts some likes to enjoy some additional images and notations about the event. We’d love to have you along for the ride with us. Of course its also awesome for you to check out the fine vendors that were discussed in this chapter by clicking their website link below as well.
