To kick off the 2022 season, the Los Angeles Rams will host the Buffalo Bills in the Rams’ first game at SoFi Stadium since winning Super Bowl LVI in February. The game will be presented nationally on NBC, Peacock and Universo at 5:20 PM PT/8:20 PM ET. Tickets are available at www.therams.com/tickets.

Fans in the stadium will be treated to a multi-song medley from Osbourne while viewers at home will see a portion of the performance on NBC and Peacock during halftime.

The new album marks the first release since Osbourne critically acclaimed, worldwide, chart-topping 2020 ORDINARY MAN. Produced by Andrew Watt (who handled the same duties on ORDINARY MAN), the new album marks Osbourne’s 13th solo studio album. It’s heavy, it’s hard-hitting, it’s historic–it’s everything you’d want from an OZZY Osbourne record and maybe more. Working with producer Watt for the second time, OZZY welcomed a dynamic A-list featured guests. For the first time ever, Black Sabbath co-founder, guitarist, and riff-master Tony Iommi appears on an OZZY solo album. The record also boasts guitarists Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, and longstanding righthand man and six-string beast Zakk Wylde who plays on the majority of the tracks. For the bulk of the album, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers held down drums, while the late Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters appears on three songs. Old friend and one-time OZZY band member Robert Trujillo of Metallica plays bass on most of the album’s tracks, with Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses and Chris Chaney of Jane’s Addiction supplying bass on a few songs.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This is some super cool news and as most of my friends will tell you, I am so deeply into sports that it borderlines on addiction. Okay I am full of it here and am pretty close to being one of the worst out there when it comes to any sort of sporting knowledge. Sure I will go to a Yankees, Mets or Rangers game or even our Brooklyn Cyclones but that’s more about the time with friends than anything else. I will be programming the DVR to catch this game so I can get to watch the performance. I’m most likely going to be at the Lamb Of God show that night in Coney Island so I will not be home to see it as it broadcasts. Closing up I wonder what you out there in the readership think about the news. Are you excited to see the Ozzman performance and who do you think will win? Remember that Ozzy and Sharon recently announced their plan to return to the United Kingdom because of the state that California was in. I don’t know when this is happening of course since I am not on their email blast but I know we have another week of them in the States just the same. Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time. Please stay safe out there and before I wrap it up entirely I will yell a rousing “Go Sports!!!!”.
