The Announcement:
A huge thank you to all of those who were able to attend this year’s Anime NYC. We truly appreciate you choosing to join us and cover this exciting show. Our team truly enjoyed meeting you and spending time with you this year. We absolutely loved that you spent time in the press office with us. Thanks to those of you who read our emails and actually came by to just say hi.

A few fun facts about the show:
* There were over 101,000 in attendance! This is up from about 65,000.
* In partnership with the Japan Society, we hosted the first-ever American Manga Awards. Winners photos are available HERE and photo credit should be Daphne Youree.
* Play NYC was a new partner this year and the gaming floor was a HUGE hit! (Thank you to all the new gaming media who attended)
* We were told that the city was exploding with Cosplayers with all the after-parties on Saturday.
* Frank Bello, the bassist from Anthrax, attended the show and posted from his instagram.
* And I’m told Lou Diamond Phillips had an amazing time as well.
