Opening: “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” @ Theaters Everywhere

Back towards the end of May I posted the Final Trailer for this film “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” and if you missed that one just click onto THIS LINK so you are up to speed. I have to say that it feels like so long ago to me already when I shared that trailer and rightly so since that was more than “90” posts ago by my count. Whew. I guess there is a lot going on our there after all. So anyway this film is opening up today and below is the theatrical poster and some plot/cast reminders.

The Plot: In the 28th century, Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) are special operatives charged with keeping order throughout the human territories. On assignment from the Minister of Defense, the two undertake a mission to Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis where species from across the universe have converged over centuries to share knowledge, intelligence, and culture. At the center of Alpha is a mysterious dark force which threatens the peaceful existence of the City of a Thousand Planets, and Valerian and Laureline must race to identify the menace and safeguard not just Alpha, but the future of the universe. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Well, despite my interest in checking this one out in the nearest available cinema, I have booked a trip to get out of the city for a few days and that is right around the corner as you read this. I’ll be having stuff posting of course since why wouldn’t I but my available time to be hitting the movies is going to be tough for the most part and that is just how the media cookie crumbles. What about you readers? Will you be hitting this one at some point during its run? Let me know down in the comments below and as always with a release announcement post, DO NOT post any spoiler information as a comment. Me no like that at all and it might find you barred from future comments as I’ve said before in our “Spider-Man: Homecoming” announcement. Until we meet again my friends.
