Synopsis: An immortal witch-hunter is tasked with the job of coming between the covens of New York City and their goal to destroy humanity by way of a horrific plague. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Personally speaking I have really enjoyed Vin in the “Pitch Black” films, well except the 2nd one since I think it bored me. I am not sure right now as not a second of it is coming to mind and I know that I saw it which strikes me as strange. My only reasoning is that it didn’t keep my interest but I digress. I saw the last chapter and thought it was a thrill ride but I am also going to say that I don’t go for the “Fast” film series and could care less about them from first to seventh. He did good in the first “XXX” movie so perhaps we shall see a more supernatural level added to that side of film with “The Last Witchhunter”. The part that scares me is while this looks good, the same was hoped for in “Seventh Son” which most of the viewing world said was horrendous. The timing of this film for me is going to find me without the surplus “mad money” for movies so I am likely going to wait until it gets onto HBO or Netflix since I am already paying for both of those services.
