About The Film: The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – The Touring Years is an upcoming British-American documentary film directed by Ron Howard about The Beatles’ career during their touring years from 1962–1966, from their performances at the Cavern Club in Liverpool to their final concert in San Francisco in 1966. PiercingMetal Thoughts: So I said I had wanted to catch the film when it opened up and alas that is not going to be possible since I have a big double bill to cover at Webster Hall with the Blind Guardian and Grave Digger show. There are still tickets for this to my knowledge and if you love the Metal that I talk about here on the site then you might want to see this movie tomorrow or over the weekend and come to see the Metal show with the group of us. I do love what I saw in the trailer and I also plan on owning this when it becomes available for purchase. So tell me dear readership, will you be lining up to get a history lesson about The Beatles? Let me know in the comments section below. Oh and before I forget, the remastered CD of The Beatles “Live At The Hollywood Bowl” came out last week and you can order a copy via Amazon.com below
