Opening: Marvel’s “Inhumans” @ Select IMAX Theaters (9/1/2017)

The waiting is over fans of the Marvel Television stuff because “Inhumans” is here. Well. Sort of. The latest offering for the small screen Marvel Cinematic Universe will be showing in select IMAX theaters across the country and then not long after the run will make its way to the television screens of America. Last week I shared the character posters from the limited series and if you didn’t see those, just click HERE to check them out. I’ve also added the premise of the series and the cast for you.

The Premise: After a military coup, the Inhuman Royal Family escape to Hawaii where they must save themselves and the world.

The Cast/Characters:
Anson Mount as Black Bolt
Iwan Rheon as Maximus
Serinda Swan as Medusa
Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon
Isabelle Cornish as Crystal
Ken Leung as Karnak
Ellen Woglom as Louise
Sonya Balmores as Auran
Mike Moh as Triton
Lockjaw is created through CGI.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So if you didn’t know this. The theatrical screening for “Inhumans” will be the first two episodes of the mini-series and I am unaware of any additional footage or interviews being a part of it. Considering that I have a full plate at the moment and that it will end up airing from the beginning towards the end of the month, I will NOT be investing the time or money in seeing it in the theater. There is no IMAX near my home and that’s two to three times the cost of the standard movie which right now is a little tough to agree to do. Remember that there are a lot of cool comics coming this month that merit a look see and I can add in the concert attending financial needs too. Sorry I am droning, but I do wonder if you folks are planning on seeing this in the IMAX or also waiting. Let me know down in the comments below. You’ll need to check your local listings for the IMAX theater in your region and to see if they are even showing “Inhumans” or not.
