From partnerships with industry legend Frank Miller to Grant Morrison’s Eisner-nominated Annihilator, Legendary Comics has a passion for innovative new stories, including the upcoming graphic novel The Heart Hunter, the historical fiction story Championess (inspired by the life of Elizabeth Wilkinson) and Jessica Chobot and Erika Lewis’ hit web series, Firebrand: The Initiation of Natali Presano. In addition to original titles, Legendary Comics also expands the scope of the cinematic universes of its parent company Legendary Entertainment, by bringing big-screen adventure exploding onto the comic book page. Working with the visionary filmmakers and the architects of Legendary’s Monsterverse, they have delivered the level of quality and authenticity our fans demand with New York Times best-sellers such as Godzilla: Aftershock, Pacific Rim: Aftermath, and Skull Island: The Birth of Kong, to name a few.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This is pretty cool to see being released because I missed out on the original editions and as the press copy denotes, the Kong graphic novel is out of print. Since the local comic book stores near me don’t always brave the more independent stuff (meaning anything beyond Marvel, DC or Image) I sometimes miss things that I’d like. I am loving the Legendary Comics stuff and recently did a video about the two releases that served as prequels to the blockbuster “Godzilla Vs. Kong” film. Click HERE to enjoy that on our Official YouTube Channel and please give us a subscribe to help the efforts grow and reach more people. I still owe our audience a comprehensive review of these tomes but its been crazy busy for the last month or so as the world slowly moves towards a more normal sense. What do you readers of the medium think about this release and have you seen that film already? It was so enjoyable IMHO and I cannot wait to get my hands on this collected edition. See you next time, stay safe out there.
