It’s been a couple of months now since we got the first look at the Warner Brothers Pictures 2017 feature “Wonder Woman” thanks to all of the reveals during the San Diego International Comic Con and now I am pleased to share what is listed as the “Official Trailer” with you readers. It first appeared the other day and I’ve embedded that below along with the cast and a cool teaser poster so dig in and I’ll return with some thoughts on it.

The Synopsis: In the early 20th century, the Amazon princess Diana, who is living on the island of Themyscira, meets American military pilot Steve Trevor when he is washed ashore. After learning about the ongoing events of a world war from him, she leaves her home to try to help end the war. (thanks Wiki).

The Cast:
Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Womanl
Chris Pine as Steve Trevor
Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta
Robin Wright as General Antiope
The sister of Hippolyta and Diana’s aunt
Lucy Davis as Etta Candy Steve Trevor’s secretary
Lisa Loven Kongsli as Menalippe

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Well, I liked the first glimpse that we got from the SDCC and since this one is slightly longer, we are getting a better look into the world of “Wonder Woman” which you can see is being done as a period piece. Its similar to how Marvel Studios did “Captain America The First Avenger” with him being a part of WWII but with Wonder Woman we are going even further back to World War I. How will the Amazon assist in the War To End All Wars is only to be learned in the theaters when this arrives in June 2017. As fans of these films might already know, this will precede “Justice League” (which I am crossing my fingers nervously about after “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice”) and continue to build the DC Extended Universe. What do you readers think of this trailer? Let me know in the comments section below. See you next time.
