Despite my love of the comic book medium I’ve never really dug into any of the Japanese Manga stuff which means I have limited background in one of their biggest offerings “Ghost In The Shell”. I’m hoping that I can examine a few trade paperbacks before the release of the sure to be exciting film starring Scarlett Johansson because the Official Trailer has just been released and is presented for you below. The Premise: Cyborg policewoman The Major (Scarlett Johansson), and her task force Section 9 thwart cyber criminals and hackers. Now, they must face a new enemy who will stop at nothing to sabotage Hanka Robotic’s artificial intelligence technology. (thanks Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As I’ve said I don’t know too much about the property but this trailer looks pretty damned good. I also love Scarlett Johansson as an action movie actor and think she will really help bring this role to life and perhaps even inspire others who are in the same boat as I am to see this film.
