Today is a great day to be a Heavy Metal fan my friends because not only has the mighty Judas Priest released their 18th album with “Firepower”, but the ever-inspiring Nightwish has delivered their greatest songs compilation “Decades” AND offered up a fourth Behind The Scenes trailer about it. As I’ve shared the previous three, it was a guarantee that I would continue the process so let’s look at the next chapter about this album and how it came to be.

About The Clip: Bandleader Tuomas Holopainen talks about ‘DECADES’ a collection of essential Nightwish tracks. With clip number four we learn “How The Idea Of DECADES Was Born”.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I will not lie about it but I am super jealous of the fans out in Atlanta today because later on tonight will be the first night of the Nightwish “Decades” Tour. The band landed here a few days ago and ran over all the necessary basics and now the prep and plans are done and it’s on like Donkey Kong! Sorry, I’ve always wanted to use that somewhere and this seemed like the best chance. I hope that most of you who read this website are planning on attending one of these shows because its going to be a spectacular event. I’ll have to assume that a few more Behind The Scenes trailers are coming and when they make an appearance I will opine about them for you right here as has been done before. Welcome back Nightwish.
