It was only a couple of months ago when we last discussed the upcoming Stephen King mini-series “The Stand”. This will air episodically over on the CBS All Access streaming service and if you missed the dramatic trailer please click HERE for some quick background. It really looks good and below you will find the poster, premise and ensemble casting. Don’t worry I will close out with some editorial for good measure since you expect me to.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Having already pointed out that we aren’t subscribing to the CBS All Access service at the present time, I don’t have much more to add about this series. It does look very good and I must admit that I didn’t read the book. Remember that you cannot binge watch on this kind of service until all the episodes have aired. I had access to a free month not too long ago and that was how I watched “Star Trek: Picard”. Maybe I will investigate a month or two when this has finished but right now I am on the fence. What about you readers? Are you planning on subscribing to the service to see this or the other shows? Chime in down below and please be safe during the upcoming holidays. This is still a dangerous proposition out there and I don’t want anyone to fall victim to it. Be sure to follow your own regions guidelines for good measure. See you next time. Thanks for reading.
