About Quibi: Quibi (/ˈkwɪbi/ KWIB-ee) is an over-the-top American short-form streaming platform that generates content for viewing on mobile devices. It was founded in August 2018, in Los Angeles, as NewTV by Jeffrey Katzenberg and is led by Meg Whitman, its CEO.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So I’ve decided not to download this service onto my phone and its mostly based on this brand-new virus that keeps getting worse and worse if you can trust the daily news briefs. Sure the self-quarantine process is finding many of us with more time to sit and watch content but when you host not only one but two websites, there is much to keep the readership informed of. I’ve already documented no less than a dozen cancellations and postponements across the two websites. This does look interesting to me but I don’t wish to commit and forget to cancel and end up being billed for a couple of additional months. That happened to me with CBS All Access. What about you? Are you interested in this method of storytelling and will be downloading the app? Chime in down below in the comments section and please be safe out there during this questionable time.

PS: I made a hopefully useful bunch of notions that will make this quarantine time a potentially productive one if you are looking for some things to distract you. Read that over on “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” by clicking HERE.
