You’ve waited a very, very, very long time for the return of the X-Men on television and now my friends I can say to hold on tight as the continuation from the original “X-Men: The Animated Series” continues along with Marvel Animation’s “X-Men ’97”. Needless to say we are super excited about this and especially looking forward to the day when the live-action X-Men will be keeping us on the edge of our seats as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This new animated series will have to hold us over until that time of course and be advised that the premiere will give us two episodes instead of one which is awesome. Premise: Picking up after the events of X-Men: The Animated Series (1992–1997), the X-Men face dangerous new challenges following the loss of their leader, Professor X.
