It was only a few short weeks ago, during the NY Comic Con, that we shared the Season 3 trailer for Marvel’s “Daredevil” with the readership. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re going to want to get on that right away by clicking HERE. Now, at the time that this post is going live, you will be able to enjoy the full Season 3 in its entirety. Before you begin binge watching, let’s check out the poster, some premise and casting for the new season.
The Premise: The first season sees lawyer-by-day Matt Murdock use his heightened senses from being blinded as a young boy to fight crime at night on the streets of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood as Daredevil, while uncovering a conspiracy of the criminal underworld being led by Wilson Fisk. In the second season, Murdock continues to balance life as a lawyer and Daredevil, while crossing paths with Frank Castle/Punisher, a vigilante with far deadlier methods, as well as the return of an ex-girlfriend—Elektra Natchios. In the third season, after Fisk is released from prison, Murdock, who has been missing for months following the events of The Defenders, reemerges a broken man and must decide between hiding from the world as a lawyer, or embracing his life as a hero vigilante. PiercingMetal Thoughts: When I discussed the trailer I lined out how the “Daredevil” series was probably the best of the whole run of Marvel Netflix shows and much like their big screen releases, they seem to keep upping the ante on some of the properties. I can’t wait to watch this season but alas I am going to have to do just that since I am only three episodes in on “Jessica Jones” season two and as I also said, the diehard comic reader in me finds me wanting to follow a certain order. I am not going to read issue one, two and five after all so why would my television time for shows like this do the same thing. Will you readers be watching this and if you say “yes” I wonder what your record binge watching time is. Sure I know they should take around 13 hours but there has to be some dead time where you can zip ahead. Tell me down below. I am not a binge watcher obviously and that is the reason I am four series behind now. I’ll catch up eventually. We’ve just had so much on the media plate with shows and a few conventions like NY Comic Con. That last one took over my Official Instagram so please click that text to see all the colorful costumes and sights. Okay, catch you soon.
