So as I’ve said a few times in the past, with the larger Pop Culture sense being adopted by the PiercingMetal Media Command, you are going to see a lot more film, television and comic book stuff and I will be addressing more of the Horror genre because I’ve overlooked it for so long. As you might recall, a few weeks ago we shared the Official Trailer for the “Evil Dead Rise” film that opens today and if you missed our share of what they called the Green Band trailer you can click HERE to see it. It was a whole lot of yikes for me and that was the easier to deal with clip and not the Red Band Trailer which will be even more jarring. The Premise: In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A. apartment. The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.
