Back in May I shared the Official Trailer for “Spider-Man: Far From Home” and if you missed it just click HERE to be on point. You’re probably already aware of this but with it being a holiday week, you might be preoccupied with other items but that being said the Sony Pictures feature opens today in theaters everywhere. I hope that by now you have seen “Avengers: Endgame” because you’ll need to but if you haven’t you are in luck as they have recently re-released it in select theaters. I discussed that re-opening HERE. At the time of this post that film has brought in a whopping $2.761 billion dollars and is on track to become the highest grossing film of all time. Anyway, so onto “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, the Official Poster is below along with premise and casting. I’ve even added a few other posters for your enjoyment.

Premise: After the events of “Avengers: Endgame”, Peter Parker goes on summer vacation to Europe with his friends. While abroad, he teams up with Mysterio to battle the Elementals.

Jon Favreau as Harold “Happy” Hogan
Zendaya as Michelle “MJ” Jones
Marisa Tomei as May Parker
Jake Gyllenhaal as Quentin Beck/Mysterio
Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury
Jacob Batalon as Ned
Tony Revolori as Eugene “Flash” Thompson
Angourie Rice as Betty Brant

Numan Acar has been cast as Dimitri
J. B. Smoove, Oli Hill, and Remy Hii have been cast in undisclosed roles.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m not thinking that I will be getting to the theater to see this today but I am going to try. If I cannot work it out, I will just aim at Wednesday since that is also New Comic Book Day and if you’ve seen the run of awesome that is coming from Marvel Comics this month you’ll probably be doing something similar. I lined out the July Marvel Entertainment releases yesterday and you can review them all by clicking HERE. This film will close out the first era of the Marvel Studios releases and as you recall, though this was released and paid for by Sony Pictures, the team behind the successful Marvel Cinematic Universe crafted the story. Hopefully they get the license back from Sony and keep all of these characters under one proper umbrella. So what do you readers think? Are you hitting this one nice and early for the holidays or planning on just sitting on the beach drinking cold beverages or BBQing? Chime in down below in the comments section as its always great to hear from you.
