We’ve been lending some attention to the brand new take on the Stephen King Horror classic for all of our ardent readers who are fans of the genre and now after two trailers (seen HERE and HERE in case you missed them), the film is opening today in theaters everywhere. The Premise: “Based on the novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed, who, after relocating with his wife Rachel and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. PiercingMetal Thoughts: With the website just having celebrated its 14th Anniversary yesterday, I’ve realized that my desire to start the 15th off as productive as possible and that will stop me from seeing this one in the theaters. I also need to see “SHAZAM!” (which also opens today as I’ve discussed HERE) and “Hellboy” which are a little bit higher on my interest level. I’ll watch this when it hits one of the many channels that I am paying for. What about you readers? Is this one that you are seeing early in the run? It does look creepy scary and that is what we want from a Horror Film after all.
