The Synopsis: Twenty years before the events of the first film, in 1987, Bumblebee takes refuge in a small California beach town junkyard, where a teenage girl named Charlie Watson takes him in. However, the two of them soon find themselves hunted by a Government Agency known as Sector Seven, lead by Agent Burns. As they run from society, the two learn that Bee isn’t the only Transformer on Earth, and that the others might not be as friendly. (thanks Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Looks like I am NOT going to be able to catch this one for the immediate time being. I’ve already noted that I have the Trans-Siberian Orchestra show tomorrow in NJ, and I am doing the matinee which is always a good time but a long day for me since its a hike via Mass Transit. I’ll need to see “Aquaman” first but then perhaps I will squeeze this one in on the same day if I hit the matinee next Wednesday near my home. If I do you can count on some non-spoiler overview right here on the website. So what about you readers? Will you be catching “Bumblebee” in the early days of the theatrical run or will you wait for a few reviews to flow in first? Chime in down below, and remember no spoilers please. We don’t like that stuff. See you next time.

  1. Bumblebee was such a great movie! I have never seen a Transformers movie but my 8 year old daughter wanted to see it. I took her and 1 of her best friends and thought I’d catch a nap. I kept my eyes opened the whole time and loved it. Was funny to see grown men and kids crying during certain scenes. Honestly, it made me think of seeing ET with my mom when I was little and seeing her cry for the 1st time during a movie. They made this action packed movie with heart and empathy so even little girls could fall in love with Bumblebee.
