Today is the day that the Sony Pictures Releasing film “Zombieland: Double Tap” opens in theaters everywhere. Ardent readers know that I’ve discussed the film a few times here on the website and two posts that might be good ammunition going into the film fall to the Promotional Character Posters and the Red Band Trailer. Those posts will help build a good framework for the folks interested in seeing this early in the theatrical run. Let’s get one more look at the premise and casting and the neato Theatrical Poster before my editorial notes at the end.

The Premise: After the events of the first film, Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita and Little Rock move to the American heartland as they face off against evolved zombies, fellow survivors and the growing pains of the snarky makeshift family.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Now I’ve mentioned that I want to see this film but based on the heavy itinerary of things to do over the next bunch of days I am thinking that its going to be a couple of weeks before I do it.
