Let’s face it. Nowadays the words “cancelled”, postponed” and “rescheduled” are an almost hourly part of the discussion with many artists and entertainment prospects forced to use them. This brings me to the latest information from the mighty Nightwish who have moved some European dates a little farther ahead than was originally planned.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So as the band has pointed out, such moves are no longer a surprise and let’s face it…there are many of us who feel that most items proposed for 2021 will be eventually cancelled since the virus is still taking a hold on our way of life and getting the vaccine into everyone isn’t happening as fast as one might like. Speaking for me, I am on a track to have this available to me in maybe five or six more months which is very unnerving for sure but I digress. Now many of you realize that the PiercingMetal Command HQ isn’t in Europe but we share these news items for our friends and supporters across the pond. I think once this whole mess is behind us that I pay a long overdue vacation to these territories. I’ve never been there before and would love to see some bands on home turf. So what do you readers from this side think about the newly rescheduled dates? Are you “there” yet in terms of hitting a show? Chime in down below in the comments section. Regular readers might recall we recently spoke about Nightwish with the news that longtime bassist Marko Hietala had stepped down from his role in the band (discussed HERE). See you next time and please be safe out there.
