It was back in October during the annual New York Comic Con that we got the first Official Trailer for the Netflix Original Series “Lost In Space” and if you feel like checking that out just click HERE. I figure the completists like to have all the information possible before these things air. Though I didn’t manage to see it, the show was quite popular and was bound to have an additional peek before its streaming date. The other day, the Final Trailer surfaced and I am sharing that with you below along with the premise, casting and some promotional art. Let’s look.
The Premise:
In the aftermath of an impact event that threatens the survival of humanity, the Robinson family is selected for the 24th mission of the Resolute (24th Colonist Group), an interstellar spacecraft carrying selected families to colonize the Alpha Centauri star system. Before they reach their destination, an alien robot breaches the Resolute’s hull. Forced to evacuate the mothership in short-range Jupiter spacecraft, scores of colonists, among them the Robinsons, crash on a nearby habitable planet. There they must contend with a strange environment and battle their own personal demons as they search for a way back to the Resolute. (c/o Wiki)

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Sadly, I never managed to sit and enjoy the first season of the “Lost In Space” series and wasn’t really planning on doing that since I held the original classic series in such high regard. That being said, when a number of my like-minded geek friends made mention on how much they enjoyed the series, I knew that I had to sit down and enjoy it. I just didn’t manage to find that kind of time based on all of the other stuff that keeps coming at us here at the Metal Media Command HQ. This trailer looks solid and maybe over the holidays I will binge the first series and continue on into the second which will be available for streaming on Christmas Eve. What did you think about this trailer? Chime in down below as its always great to hear from readers.
