Last month, we helped share the news from ReedPOP about the 2021 New York Comic Con badges being completely sold out (seen HERE in case you missed it). Now we return with an update on said convention based on the news and regulations being issued only yesterday. I snagged the images from their Facebook and will NOT be typing the text over since its pretty clear to the eye.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: As you might recall, when they announced that the NYCC would indeed be taking place, they lined out that it would be at a very limited attendance of patrons and the professional side of the fence. That means less Cosplayers, Artists, Creative Sorts and Media representatives like ourselves. At the time of this update it doesn’t seem like I will be in attendance this year but that could change at the flip of a coin. I am unsure how much these new restrictions will impact said event and while I miss conventions and concerts something fierce, I haven’t been to an event like this since March of 2020 with restaurant trade show for “The Chronicles” side of our ideas. Though some cancellations have already been announced with NY Luxury Design Fair (discussed HERE) I am still on target to attend the upcoming Play NYC event and NY NOW in the coming days. I am told that I must be vaccinated, prove I am not ill at the moment and wear a mask the entire time inside the event space. Are you planning on attending New York Comic Con? What are your thoughts on potentially even stricter guidelines. Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time. Remember to be safe out there and wear a mask and get vaccinated. Yeah I said it. Hey and if you’ve ever wanted to visit NYCC and haven’t, the video gallery below is a solid example of the kind of fun that’s too be found within its walls. Feel free to subscribe to that channel since we need more of our readers to do that.
