PiercingMetal Thoughts: I read “The Dirt” quite a few years ago and it was a compelling read that I think I got through in about a week. It was very well written and brought you into the stories that you might have learned something about from the bands many interviews over the years. As its a career reflection with a strong dose of each members lives there are high moments and some crushing low ones. It was the kind of book that everyone seemed to think would make for a good movie and here we are. I do think its amusing to find it coming to Netflix as opposed to a brief theatrical run but oh well I am not in the marketing department for Netflix or the film as a whole. This trailer looked pretty good to me and I have a feeling that this film is keeping as close to the book as it can. The Netflix streaming date for “The Dirt” is on March 22nd, will you be watching? I know I will. Let me know what you think of the trailer down below.
