Netflix Presents: “Marvel’s Luke Cage” Season 2 Official Trailer

The end of the hectic Monday is here my friends and by now I hope you are sitting down and relaxing to some programs you enjoy or tooling around on the web to see what is brewing. I’m going to interrupt the solace just a tad bit to let you know that the official trailer for the next Netflix Marvel Television series is here – Presenting “Luke Cage” Season 2. Dig it.

Premise: When a sabotaged experiment gives him super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive attempting to rebuild his life in Harlem and must soon confront his past and fight a battle for the heart of his city. After clearing his name, Cage becomes a hero and celebrity in Harlem, only to encounter a new threat that makes him confront the line between hero and villain.

The Cast/Characters:
Mike Colter as Luke Cage
Simone Missick as Misty Knight
Theo Rossi as Hernan “Shades” Alvarez
Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple
Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard
Mustafa Shakir as John McIver/Bushmaster
Gabrielle Dennis as Tilda Johnson

PiercingMetal Thoughts: You have to pardon me for saying this but “Sweet Christmas” that looks like its going to be good. I’m still on a bit of a Marvel Studios high based on my recently seeing “Avengers: Infinity War” and I’m hoping that you’ve seen it by now as well. Can you believe that the film has taken in over $1.1 billion dollars already? Well it has. I’ve enjoyed all of the Netflix offerings that focus on the street level MCU and I include “Iron Fist” in this mix and still don’t understand where all the fuss was about it. I am wondering where this is one stands in the timeline of the broader MCU. Based on what transpires in “Avengers: Infinity War” (and no I am not telling anything about it), I will assume that its beforehand. Anyway, so yeah this looks great and the whole show will be available for streaming on June 22nd. What did you think of the trailer? Chime in down below.
