I have to admit that I’m still on a bit of a high from the news about the Disney acquisition of 21st Century Fox that hit yesterday and if you missed that, just scroll down through our recent posts since its one of the most recent ones. So today continues the awesome when it comes to Marvel Television as the teaser for the second season of “Iron Fist” was recently released. Let’s check it out.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ll keep this brief by saying I am glad the series is returning for a second go. I didn’t really understand all of the negative vibe that the first season got. It wasn’t that bad and if people are hammering that fact into your head and keeping you from watching it, I say ignore them. Its watchable and good to see the continued building of the Street Level Marvel Universe. Let’s see if we get a costume in the full series and what they end up doing with Typhoid Mary. I’ve had such a busy few months that I still need to watch the second seasons of “Jessica Jones” and “Luke Cage”. Looks like some serious binging is in order for me as soon as I can manage the time. So with the 21st Century Fox acquisition comes the possibilities of even more Netflix shows that are connected to the larger universe. That’s all I have for the moment and let’s hope for a longer trailer before September.
