Fans of the now Netflix Original series “Lucifer” will be excited to know that the trailer for the second half of Season Five is ready for consumption. For those in the unaware, the series was saved by the streaming service when Fox decided to end it with its third season. Let’s take a look.

The Premise: It’s time to meet your new maker! Lucifer is back with eight thrilling new episodes. Season 5 Part 2 premieres May 28th (c/o YouTube).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve been watching “Lucifer” since the beginning and was very happy to find it landing on Netflix for its last few seasons. The show is unique and while a real deviation from the original source material of the Vertigo Comics series, it has some charm and some interesting characters. I am interested in seeing where they take this during the second half of the fifth season and how they lead us into its final sixth. Those of you who enjoy the DC Comics on television stuff will likely know that both “Supergirl” and “Black Lightning” end their run with their current seasons and I admit that I will miss a little something from each of them. What did you readers think about this new trailer? I liked it and feel that it expands enough upon the characters from the Beyond and brings some good celestial drama and intrigue to the fore.
