While we are totally down with showcasing upcoming films that fall into our demographics interest here on PiercingMetal, our Pop Culture Film and Television section does NOT have all that many “Teen Comedy” entries. Hmm, now that I think about it, I can’t recall there even being one. Until now. So what makes me delve into that portion of the cinematic sense? Well, it’s a coming of age film about some students who are forming a Metal band. Color me sold. Here is the Official Trailer for the upcoming release that will stream on Netflix next month.
The Premise: Two kids start a metal band in a high school where exactly two kids care about metal. They can’t find a bassist, but there is this one girl who plays the cello. They need to work together if they’re ever going to win the Battle of the Bands. (c/o YouTube)

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Having grown up in a time where a lot of your High School chums were learning an instrument and many of them forming Metal bands I have to say that this film looks like it will appeal to me quite a bit. I am a long time Netflix subscriber as well, but I am not sure if I will watch immediately since I’ve been working quite a bit at nights and when I come home I just pass out but I digress. So what did you readers think about this trailer? Were you someone who was aspiring to be in a band when you were in High School? What instrument did you play if any, I was a drummer myself but that’s going to wrap this up for me. You can chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you the next time around. Please stay safe out there.
