Full disclosure. I didn’t know all that much about the electric violinist named Mia Asano but while scrolling through some of my social media feeds, I saw a few videos and was intrigued. When I saw the announcement about a first time solo headlining tour, I said let’s support the efforts. Read on.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: At the time of my sharing this intel, its far too early to express interest in attending or even being sure that I am free on the night that she visits The Wood Shop. I’ve never been there before and it seems to be connected to The Meadows and the Monarch. I am intrigued as I’ve said because I’ve long been a fan of the Metal Cellists of Apocalyptica and love the violins in productions like Trans-Siberian Orchestra and after watching more of her videos can say that Mia has some serious chops.
