Holy miniature figurines Batman, Mezco Toyz is unveiling their “Classic Series” Mezitz & Batmobile! Yep, those fantastically funky folks over at Mezco Toyz were holding an event at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium to reveal their 1960’s “Classic Series Batman” Mezitz figures and Batmobile. Check out the poster below.
This was open to the public and of course members of the press so I made sure to be on point when all of a sudden a tremendous commotion started in the street – clearly the citizens of the Big Apple were far less used to the Caped Crusader driving by but here he was in all his blue and gray glory.
Batman seemed to be reporting in to either the Commissioner of maybe even Robin back at The Batcave. Whatever he was doing he clearly assessed the situation as one that he could handle solo.
This is probably my favorite shot of the whole bunch. Batman sure was used to the cameras.
Bat stance or Bat-tusi? You be the judge…..
Catwoman had snuck in as well and we caught her with a giant Batman Mezit, but she was not getting away with this with Batman in the room.
Now it was time for Batman to show off why he was really here and that was to present the “Classic Series” Batman Mezitz and Batmobile.
These next few shots celebrate the new toy release.
How cool is this. Everyone in attendance today was leaving with one of these Dark Knight Mezit figures.
I even managed to get these two little figures for free based on a raffle ticket. Not bad.
Oh yes and there were also prizes dished out to fans who showed up dressed in costume. This young lady did a great job for sure 🙂
That’s all I have for this adventure. Be sure to check out the other offerings from Mezco Toyz via their official website and the specialty shops near you. My report about the visit to the Odditorium in Ripley’s will post on my PiercingKen.com site soon so please watch for that.
