As those who follow our Pop Culture focuses know, in addition to the comic book and film narratives, we just love the world of toys and collectibles and this is especially the case when a product crosses into the music world like with these recently revealed Hot Wheels Led Zeppelin collectible cars that come care of the fine folks at Mattel. Let’s take a look at the provided images down below.
“Haulin’ Gas”: Adorned with the artwork of the bands seminal self-titled debut album “Led Zeppelin” and showcases the Hindenburg disaster on both sides of the vans exterior.
“Super Van”: “Led Zeppelin II” is celebrated with this van as the collection keeps a chronological order of their recorded works.
“Combat Medic”: The colorful and exciting cover of “Led Zeppelin III”.
“67 Austin Mini Van”: Celebrates the famed “untitled” album which is most commonly referred to as “Led Zeppelin IV” and probably is the one album that everyone has in their collection if they listen to any kind of Rock.
“Hiway Hauler”: There isn’t an album being lauded on this collectible but instead the rally goes to the bands 1975 North American Tour. We see the famous flying man on the sides of the vehicle and an actual rundown of the cities performed at which you can see on the side if you look very closely.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: These are awesome and while the age listed is 3+, I am sure that most of the people buying these will be fans of the famous group such as myself. I’m going to venture to guess that much like the ser that they did for The Beatles and The Grateful Dead, is that future collections will continue the presenting of the famed albums. I’m going to need to find a set of these when they come to the shelves (translated to Amazon.com) and can hope against hope that they decide to do a KISS series as well. I should actually drop that last notion in the Mattel Suggestion Box if I can find one. What do you readers think of this particular collectible? Will you be grabbing a set when they are available? Chime in down below and I will see you next time.
