It’s been a very long time since the folks at Marvel were about to do anything regarding the X-Men on film or on television but now as 100% owners of 20th Century Studios, the rights have returned to them and the plans are in motion. While the live-action stuff is sorted out, Marvel Studios will be continuing the popular “X-Men: The Animated Series” that ran for a few years and ended in 1992. This new series picks up where they left off and will premiere on Disney+ in late March. The first Official Trailer just dropped and I’ve got it down below for you to enjoy along with much of the voice cast and the characters that they are doing. Take a look.

Val Cooper also appears, with DeMayo saying she has “an agenda” with the team that would “slowly make itself known”. Lawrence Bayne, who was a voice actor in the original series, is set to appear in the second season.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: For me this is very cool because I was a heavy reader of the “X-Men” line of comic books back in the day where literally everyone was buying multiple copies of each and every title. I did watch the original series but didn’t stick with it for some reason or another. I loved it for sure but never kept up with it and hence didn’t see to its final episode. I think that Disney+ has the series available for streaming now as well so I might try to watch those from the beginning to bring me up to speed. I have great faith in this upcoming animated series and already am a fan of their “What If” series. Having the X-Men back in the proper hands of Marvel is a very good thing. I can’t wait for the live-action films to feature them and as you might already know, the world got a teaser trailer for “Deadpool and Wolverine” and a cast announcement for “The Fantastic Four”. I am pretty excited for both of these releases. That’s all I’ve got on this one my friends, what do you think about the trailer and are you already subscribing to Disney+ so you can watch it. Chime in down below in the comments and I will see you next time. Please stay safe out there in this wild and crazy world.
