While we sadly lost the skills of the Black Widow as one of the casualties of the “Avengers: Endgame”, thanks to the wonders of cinema we can scroll backwards in the history books to learn more about her in a film that takes place before the great battle. The first teaser clip for “Black Widow” has been released so let’s watch.

The Premise: Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Natasha Romanoff finds herself alone and forced to confront her past.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve loved the Black Widow character ever since she first appeared in “Iron Man 2” and of course was reading her adventures when she shared the spotlight in the “Daredevil/Black Widow” comic series way back in the 70’s I think. I just love the inclusion of the Red Guardian in this and the villainous Iron Maiden but if the quick visual we got is that of Taskmaster, I do not like the looks of him as compared with what we see in the comics. He has such a great look and it should not be messed with. Part of me is hopeful that we meet a few other Soviet Super Soldiers because I enjoyed that team. Especially Ursa Major, the Russian Bear. There is so much potential for the MCU to keep expanding and surprising us and I greatly enjoyed this trailer. What about you folks? Chime in down below.
