If you’re not yet up to speed let’s refresh a bit. Back during the SDCC (or San Diego Comic-Con), actor Robert Downey Jr. was revealed to be portraying the villainous Doctor Doom for the upcoming film “Avengers: Doomsday”. This was a shift in production plans after they opted to move on from using Kang The Conqueror. Then we got a lengthy partial cast reveal, seen HERE and now at long last comes the first of four teaser trailer. I’ve embedded this down below along with a lengthier casting and the premise. I have not found any promotional art for this one yet. Have at it.

Additional actors slated to appear in the film are Chris Evans in an undisclosed role, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: Before I get briefly into this, this teaser was making the rounds for days already before Marvel Studios decided to drop it. It was apparently being shown before the screenings of “Avatar: Fire & Ash” but I cannot confirm since I was not planning on seeing that film. Now I don’t usually like to speak too much about teasers but this one is different. We don’t get all that much outside of the knowledge that Steve Rogers will be returning in the film. I did find it interesting that it didn’t say that “Captain America will return in Avengers: Doomsday” but maybe that’s because Sam Wilson is currently in the role when the mantle was handed to him at the end of “Avengers: Endgame”. It’s without question that the Marvel films are in a bit of a bind with the recent two pulling in terrible box office numbers but let’s face it “Thunderbolts” was only okay and “Captain America: Brave New World” was not that good at all. There are four proposed teasers coming so we shall meet again right here with them for content sake. What did this brief glimpse leave you thinking?
