As the New Year of 2023 continues to shake itself awake, the excitement for the beginning of “Phase 5” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ramps up as the first feature in that segment arrives soon with “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania”. It follows the recently released “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” film which while popular, I only thought was okay at best. This new Ant-Man film looks super exciting and I’ve touched upon the subject before with the Official Trailer post (psst, click the hyperlinked text to see that one) and now its time for the “New Trailer”. The Premise: Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope’s parents, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, and Lang’s daughter, Cassie, go on a new adventure exploring the Quantum Realm that pushes their limits and pits them against Kang the Conqueror.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Okay so I am not going to lie here, this trailer blew my mind and I am three times as excited about the film now and will look to checking it out very early in the theatrical run because the vloggers and spoiler websites cannot wait to ruin it for those who can’t see it on Day One. I generally don’t know if I will get there for the opening day until its closer to being the case but I definitely foresee the Monday after if I am not scheduled for any work. I feel with this one the spoilers will be absolutely impossible to avoid and I am really excited to see Kang The Conqueror joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a really big bad. All we need now is a proper Doctor Doom and Galactus and you know they are coming in due time. Truth be told I’d also love to see Mephisto arriving.
