PiercingMetal Thoughts: Before I get into the closing editorial, I hope you all liked the inclusion of that original “Godzilla” first-issue graphic from 1977. Back when I posted about the Omnibus edition of the “Godzilla Original Marvel Years”, I had pointed out just how special the characters introduction to the Marvel Universe was for a young geek such as myself. Now these covers are all amazing and I am sad that we are only getting to look at “15” from the “21” full run of titles but perhaps some of the finalized art was not ready by the time they wanted to send this notification out. With all that being said I think most of you readers of the comic book content know that I don’t really purchase any of the variant covers nowadays. For me its a matter of adding an additional title to the pull list over another copy of something I might or might not already be collecting. I still love Godzilla but will leave these for the diehards to be able to get. Here’s a word of advice though, if these interest you, it might be a good idea to get your LCS on your wave length and make sure that they have the ones you want the most ordered for you well in advance. I say this because sometimes I notice that the shops are not ordering a ton of extra copies of anything. That’s all I have on this one so as I wrap it up I wonder what you all think about it.
