PiercingMetal Thoughts: Longtime readers of the website know how much we love the comic book industry and when it comes to the annual Free Comic Book Day, its an event that I really love participating in. For the last few years we’ve been not only showcasing what we get on the website and our social networks but also even recording a quick video for good measure. As you know, the event was cancelled last year due to the pandemic and this year it didn’t happen in the first weekend of May but will now take place in August. These two titles will be fun grabs since they bring together four great characers. Now, its without question that the pandemic has hit the smaller retailers hard and since Free Comic Book Day is only free to the customer and not the vendor, you might want to check with your local shop to make sure that they will even be participating in it. If they aren’t you are going to want to find a place that is so you don’t miss out. You still have a lot of time so if your place says “no” maybe you can petition them to do it. That’s all I have to say about this one and as I close it up I wonder what you readers think about it. Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time.
