PiercingMetal Thoughts: Thinking back on the original titles from the 2099 Universe, I have to say that I really enjoyed “Spider-Man 2099”, “Doom 2099” and in some sense “X-Men 2099” the most. The other ones while an occasionally good read, I didn’t follow all that much. I like to see some kind of return to this far flung era in a kind of anthology title that celebrates a bunch of the characters as opposed to a single series for each of them. Considering how pricy some of these issues are nowadays that would be the better option. Most of you already know that I don’t really purchase the variant cover editions but I still wonder what you readers who might have a little deeper of collecting mania to their purchasing think about these variants. Chime in down below in the comments section and let’s begin the countdown to New York Comic Con. See you next time.
