Marvel Comics “True Believers” Titles For April Are “X-Men” Themed

There’s a new set of Marvel Comics “True Believers” line of titles coming at us in April, and while this press news was revealed way back in January, I’ve found that our immediate forgetfulness thanks to all the fast-paced Social Networking would find us forgetting. This latest bunch follows the hits that came with the “Deadpool”, “Star Wars” and “Wolverine” editions and keep the Mutant Mania thriving by doing nine “9” super affordable “X-Men” titles. PiercingMetal Thoughts: I have to say that Marvel is officially cooking with gas based on this series of “True Believers” offerings and the last ones that featured “Wolverine”. That one grouping a few runs ago I wasn’t crazy about but these two and the “Star Wars”, and “Deadpool” ones were excellent additions to the reading library AND most important of all, these are all a $1 apiece so you have a batch to get and give as gifts and spark those younger readers in your world. For me the ones that I am most excited about fall to of course the classic X-Men debut but also the Giant-Size and the Cable related ones. The Blue and Gold issues will impress fans for sure since they were megahits when they came out in 1991. Remember that Image Comics would launch in 1992 and a lot of these creatives would move over to their new company from the House Of Ideas and impress us with that stuff. Interesting times for sure so make sure to get on the phone with your local comic book shop and request that a copy or two of each be pulled for you. Let me know what you think about these offerings down in the comments and stay tuned for the usual comic solicits that will run at the beginning of the coming month.
