We are here in July my comic collecting friends and today is actually the fourth of July so I am glad to see a couple of this months first issue offerings are connected to the Captain America mythos. So not only is it the 2015 years halfway point, but its also the continuing presentation of the brand new “Secret Wars” storyline and this is going to change the very fabric of the Marvel Universe for years to come. Check out all of the new first issues that are coming out this month. Some are on the stands already for you to purchase while the rest are coming soon. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Whew this is getting a little tricky to follow and of course a little pricy based on just how many titles that are coming out. Hopefully its not killing your pocket all that much because you sure don’t want to miss a chapter. So far I am finding the “Armor Wars” and “Spider-Island” title to be to my liking the most from this and I have always had some appreciation for Captain Britain. I wonder if we shall ever see him or Union Jack in the films. One can only hope. I am also looking very forward to the Ant-Man annual since that film cannot open fast enough for me. Remember that this film ends the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Two films and we have almost a year to wait until the Third Phase begins. The Marvel Masterworks for Spider-Woman should be a hot seller as well since this title was pretty good. The original Spider-Woman was not as connected to Spider-Man as you younger readers might think and I loved that outfit. Surprised we don’t see more Cosplayers doing that one at the Comic Con. Wake up ladies, this is classic stuff. Okay that is all we have for Marvel for this month. More comic stuff in a couple of days but after some music review posts first.
