This February, Marvel Comics continues to deliver thrilling tales set in the Predator universe with PREDATOR: BLOODSHED, a five-issue limited series written by Jordan Morris, who made his Marvel debut earlier this year in Predator: Black, White & Blood, and drawn by acclaimed artist Roland Boschi, known for his current work on Rogue Storm. Taking place in the world of underground fighting, the new chapter introduces a group of deadly fighters who must put their rivalries aside and band together when a Yautja enters the ring! “As a lifelong fan of the Predator franchise, I know that the Yaujta love testing themselves with new challenges,” he explained. “I figured an underground martial arts tournament where Earth’s strongest fighters gather under one roof to wail on each other would be an ideal challenge for the galaxy’s greatest hunter. I grew up on fighting video games and martial arts movies, so I am of the opinion that an underground fighting tournament is the coolest setting there is. I am so excited for folks to see the Yaujta absolutely wreck shop!”

PiercingMetal Thoughts: While I’ve said this part time and time again over the course of our comic book announcements and narratives, I generally don’t purchase any of the limited series things unless they are a character that blows me away. Case in point releases featuring Doctor Doom with the “One World Under Doom” and the mighty Godzilla in “Godzilla Destroys The Marvel Universe”. I’ve always enjoyed the Predator stuff and Marvel has been really putting out some solid stuff with this hunter but I’m more prone to the collected editions at this point. For me they are easier to stock in the bookshelf over keeping track of individual issues. Of course as I look over at said bookshelf it is getting rather. I’ll leaf through this one when its on the racks and see if I want to dedicate myself to the limited series. I didn’t snag the one where Predator mixed it up with Black Panther, Wolverine or Spider-Man so I might leave this one for the diehards. I do want to see all of those other titles collected together though. Wrapping up I wonder what you folks think about this new series announcement.
