Readers of my words will often find me saying how cool I think my Media Metropolis is because we have lots of cool places and interesting goings on happening almost every day. One of the cool places is the relatively new Sony Square which is located just off of Madison Square Park and connected to the Sony Music label. In Sony Square, they often host band signings and meet and greets such as the Judas Priest one that I attended last year (seen HERE in case you missed that). Now, in the early days of February, a small group of fans of the band New Years Day will be treated to an exclusive acoustic performance and a meet and greet. Check out the cool poster below.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Hopefully I’ll be able to be a fly on the wall for this event because I do enjoy the band and for those who anticipated my catching them on that Halestorm tour, well, I never managed to work that out but that happens sometimes and you move onto the next thing. I did manage to review the bands single “Skeletons” and their “Diary Of A Creep” EP which are linked to in their names so please check them out.
