PiercingMetal Thoughts: This news doesn’t really come as a surprise as getting things in gear for many event organizers is still quite a hassle. We recently learned that the NY Empire State Tattoo Expo has been pushed to October from its originally scheduled time in late July and there are very likely more to come as the virus cases seem to be on the uptick. Don’t look too deeply into the lack of rolling tickets over because that’s usually to secure a specific location and with a return event being way over a year away an event space is likely not something being considered at the moment. PiercingMetal has attended this particular convention since 2016 and we have had a good time at each go round. My hope is that it does return next year and not find itself being sunset like the Book Expo and Book Con and the NY Times Travel Show. That would suck since we need as many geek things as possible. Chime in with your own thoughts on this news if you like. You can do that down in the comments section below. I will see you next time. Stay safe out there.
