I’ve been sharing some of the San Diego Comic Con exclusives for a couple of weeks now and if you’ve missed any of those posts just click HERE to bring up the rundown of them to assist your shopping should you be attending the convention in the coming weeks. I’ve just gotten the inside scoop on what the fine folks at LEGO will be offering up and the timing of my posting this is almost perfect since it has to do with the one and only Amazing Spider-Man. Read on to the official press release and provided images.
The Press Release:
Marvel BrickHeadz: The LEGO Group will be offering two LEGO BrickHeadz building sets, including this set from Marvel Universe Spider-Man & Venom, containing 144 pieces and priced at $40. Only available for purchase at San Diego Comic-Con.
While purchase and fulfillment of this exclusive LEGO BrickHeadz set will take place in the LEGO booth, attendees must first visit the Pavilion Terrace to participate in a random drawing to qualify to buy beginning as early as 6 am. Tickets to purchase must be redeemed on the same day or purchase is forfeited. Attendees can try to get their hands on this LEGO BrickHeadz set from the Marvel Universe only on Thursday, July 20th and Saturday, July 22nd. There is a limit of one set per attendee per day.
Fans who are not attending SDCC have a chance to also win this exclusive set via Twitter by following @LEGO_Group and the hashtag #LEGOSDCC.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: Judging from the reception that the movie has been getting since its opening only yesterday it’s pretty safe to say that anything Spider-Man is HOT right now and who doesn’t love the coolness that comes care of the LEGO brand? These two figures in this set seem like something that any collector is going to want to get their hands on for sure and while we are not even attending the convention (I know insert sad emoji here in support of this revelation) we’re going to try our best to win a set via the Social Networking methods lined out above. So tell me my fellow Spider-Man fans, what do you think of this new set and will you be hunting one down if you are attending the SDCC? Let me know down in the comments below.
