Fans of “The Hottest Band In The World” KISS were excited about the bands exclusive residency in sunny Las Vegas at Zappo’s Theater which would both close out 2021 kickoff the brand-new 2022 year off with a bang that only a band like theirs could deliver. Sadly, according to some regional press and a search on Ticketmaster, this event has been cancelled in full.

There has been no official statement from KISS at this time as they are currently on the high seas with the KISS Kruize. When one surfaces it will be edited into this general announcement.

I expect that tickets purchased for said run of residency dates will be refunded via the means that they were purchased. This does notappear to be a postponement but instead a full cancellation of the happening.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: While we were not considering attending based on budgeting and ability to schedule something like this into the day we sure do think that it sucks because this is the final KISS Tour ever (or so we’ve been told). As many fans know, both Gene and Paul recently had a bout of the Coronavirus and a beloved member of their inner circle staff passed away from this scourge a few short weeks ago so perhaps there are still some health concerns to be addressed in their camp. Only time will tell why this is the case but watch your credit card statements for the refund if you had ordered tickets and were planning on heading to Vegas. I’d love to catch KISS in concert a couple of more times before its all over since it brings me a personal level of musical satisfaction. The last time that I witnessed their presentation was when they made a mind-blowing appearance the Tribeca Festival back in June after the screening of their “Biography: KISStory” documentary.
