To say that the year 2020 was a sh**show would be an understatement of understatements. The dreaded Coronavirus Pandemic took over the world and everyone’s way of life and made most of this year one of uncertainty and hesitation. Music icons and major conventions switched from the real world in person happenings to virtual ones and leave it to the legendary “Hottest Band In The World” KISS; The four masked Hard Rock superheroes will be sending this dumpster fire of a year out in the best possible fashion….with a blockbuster streaming concert they are calling “KISS 2020 Goodbye”. Take a look at the bands Official Video.

KISS, like many other bands, have found their touring cycles being brought to a halt and as many know by now – the legendary masked men of Hard Rock were in the middle of their “End Of The Road” Farewell Tour. KISS today is comprised of founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons along with long-standing members Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer. This news does not lead me to believe that original members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss will be involved at all but it would be a nice touch. I know during a part of the set we saw some video clips of the originals in makeup from historical archive footage but that was it.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Though this whole bit of news was a lot of my views, I think this might break my streak of not participating in any of the live stream concerts since this whole pandemic began offering them up… KISS is my favorite band of them all and across all of the lineups. I’ve documented their musical adventures here on the website a number of times and will likely keep doing so for as long as this site remains online. What do you readers think about this livestream? Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time.
