PiercingMetal Thoughts: What can I say about this that I haven’t already lined out in one of the preceding announcements about the bands farewell run? The music of KISS has been a vital part of my life for so many years its not funny and while I will miss their being something that I can see when they come around once this tour has run its course, it is indeed time for the band to say some goodbyes and let the torch be held up by a hopefully worthy successor. I am sure that all of the members of the KISS Army can count on live video and audio releases from this last go round and by hook or by crook I will be at MSG for that final show for our region. One has to wonder if additional NYC or the surrounding region dates will be added because no offense intended, I can hardly think that KISS ends their career in any locality that isn’t NYC or even Detroit. Even though we still have plenty of time before these shows commence, I thank Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer for the music and I sure don’t forget all of the earliest works and influence from Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, Bruce Kulick, Vinnie Vincent and the late great Eric Carr and Mark St. John. What do you readers think about this news and these dates? Will you be participating? Chime in down in the comments section below and let me know what you think about this news from The Hottest Band In The World……KISS!!!!

  1. Big influence growing up as a kid. Listening to Ace Frehley made me want to pick up a guitar and play. The band announcing their end of tour should only be right and fair to all fans of all ages to bring back the original lineup and give their best show ever. The KISS fans want the best and hope to receive the best on the bands farewell tour.
